The Lewis County Court Law Library is located on the second floor of the Lewis County Courthouse and holds an up-to-date collection of legal reference materials.
The Library has recently been updated and renovated, allowing for a more extensive conference and research area, including the addition of a public access computer. The public is welcome to use the 'Public Access Lexis' databases. Legal reference materials are also available for public use but must be used on premises. Books are not allowed to be removed from the Library.
The Library Clerk can assist you in locating information about the law. However, the Library Clerk may not select a form for you, explain civil or criminal procedure, interpret or analyze legal materials, or give legal advice.
