Dockets

The Dockets department processes and files public records related to property liens, hospital liens, satisfactions, judgments, and building loans. As required by New York State Law, judgments and liens are permanent records accessible by the public. As these documents and filings are indexed by name, you must know and search by a debtor's last name. Each judgment or lien entry will contain information about the original filing as well as any subsequent filings such as satisfactions and renewals. Note that judgments are enforceable against real property for ten years and twenty years against personal property.

Judgments, Mechanic's Liens, New York State Tax Warrants and Federal Tax liens filed with the Bronx County Clerk’s Office can be searched in our office or online at Bronx County Clerks' Office case search
